In an Auction at Bangalore, lots of franchises were interested in Azhar Mahmood but finally Kings XI Punjab successfully won the bid at $200,000. Azhar Mahmood is a cricketer from England who will fill role of All-rounder in Kings XI Punjab.

Earlier, Azhar Mahmood was up for sale at base price of $100,000 but went up due to bids from other franchise teams of Indian Premier League at auction held in Bangalore. But at last, Azhar Mahmood will play for KXIP for upcoming IPL 2012.
