Team India’s past captain, Ajit Wadekar, firmly believes that Sachin Tendulkar is destined to score his most-wanted and long-awaited 100th international century at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai, where third and final Test match is being played between India and West Indies.

Wadekar states that the God of Cricket Sachin will really achieve the mark at his home ground as a great number of fans are backing him.

Talking to the media currently, the past skipper said, “It is destiny that he was born and brought up in Mumbai. He is bound to make history at Mumbai. Among the list of trio, Dravid and Laxman have scored century (in this series), only he's left. He can score it in Mumbai.”

The Master Blaster has been struggling for a hundred since ICC World Cup 2011. At the time of Men in Blue’s last tour to England, he strived hard for the feat but failed, causing huge damage to the several top brands and bookmakers who had gambled huge money on him.

The Little Master is again ready to break the jinx in the ongoing Test series against the West Indies. He has failed to score any ton in the first two matches.

Now, both cricket lovers and the gamblers expect the legend to lash a ton in the third test match.

Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA), has even declared to shower 100 gold coins on Sachin if he is able to score 100 runs at the Wankhede Stadium. Before this, Bengal Cricket Association has also pledged exactly the same in the 2nd Test at Eden Gardens.

Remember, Wankhede Stadium is same stadium where Indians won the ICC World Cup 2011 final on 2nd April, 2011 by defeating Sri Lanka. Sachin performed an instrumental role in that wonderful win.

Sachin Tendulkar has 183 Test and 453 ODI matches to his name. During 22 years of his International career, he has achieved a number of iconic titles. The Little master is the world’s top scorer both in Test along with ODI formats of the cricket matches. Despite being 38 yrs . old, he continues to remain in action for time to come.

Wadekar, who has played 37 Tests and only 2 ODIs, has backed Sachin to bat for India and bless them with more successes.
