IPL Player Auction 2012 at Mysore Hall, Bangalore was full of suspense and surprises. One of them is of Thisara Perera who will play for Mumbai Indians for the next two seasons. Mumbai Indians got Thisara Perera at the cost of $650,000.

In an Auction at Bangalore, lots of franchises were interested in Thisara Perera but finally Mumbai Indians successfully won the bid at $650,000. Thisara Perera is a cricketer from Sri Lanka who will fill role of All-rounder in Mumbai Indians.

Earlier, Thisara Perera was up for sale at base price of $50,000 but went up due to bids from other franchise teams of Indian Premier League at auction held in Bangalore. But at last, Thisara Perera will play for MI for upcoming IPL 2012.
